2005 Mitsubishi Galant:
Front side airbags became standard on all Galants for 2005, not just the most-expensive model.
2006 Mitsubishi Galant:
The Galant was unchanged for 2006.
2007 Mitsubishi Galant:
Freshened styling, curtain side airbags, and a sporty Ralliart model headlined the 2007 revamp of Mitsubishi's midsize-sedan line. New for '07, the Ralliart got a 258-hp version of the V6 and used a 5-speed automatic transmission. The '07s got revised nose and tail appearance.
2008 Mitsubishi Galant:
The 2008 Mitsubishi Galant got a slimed-down model lineup. The mid-level SE and GTS models were discontinued.
