Nissan's new entry in the big pickup sweepstakes has gotten away from the starting gate in fine fashion. Even with more than $2500 in options, this V-8 crew-cab test Titan stickered at a little over $31,000 delivered. This driver barely missed any of the additional "stuff" that could be had with pricier versions of the Titan.

Base price of the 4x4 XE crew cab is about $4000 below comparable F-150 XLT, and comes with a bigger engine to boot. Tester listed for $31,000, but included an off-road package ($1000), and a couple other unnecessary items. That strikes me as a great value.
