Vehicle Highlights
A virtual rerun for 2004, Eclipse offers hatchback coupes and Spyder convertibles. Both come in GS, GT, and GTS trim, and there's a base RS coupe. RS and GS have a 4-cyl engine; others use a V6, with an extra 10 hp in GTS models. All come with manual transmission. Automatic is optional and includes a manual shift gate except on the RS. Spyders have a standard power top with heated glass window. All models include air conditioning, CD stereo, power windows/locks and alloy wheels: 17-inchers on GT and GTS, 16s on GS, 15s on RS. Front side airbags and ABS are standard for GTS, unavailable otherwise. In the year's only changes, power mirrors and 6-speaker audio become standard for the RS.
