Vehicle Highlights
Lexus' upper-crust convertible adds a limited-edition model for 2004. The SC 430 features a power-retractable metal roof and a small rear seat intended for occasional use, mainly by kids. It comes with a V8 engine and 5-speed automatic transmission from Lexus' top-line LS 430 sedan. Standard are front side airbags, ABS, antiskid/traction system, tire-pressure monitor, and 18-inch wheels, leather/wood cabin trim, a navigation system, and premium Mark Levinson audio. Options include a rear spoiler, run-flat tires, and Lexus Link service provided through the OnStar network. Only about 400 Pebble Beach Edition models are due to be built, each featuring Azure Pearl paint, Ecru leather upholstery, rear spoiler, run-flat tires, special badging, and a leather golf bag.
