The ES 330 is a velvet fist in a velvet glove among near-luxury cars. As this car seems less oriented toward aggressive luxury sport-sedan driving than some of its market rivals, this tester agrees that one well-executed suspension set-up would be better than four potentially unsuitable variable ones.

We need to rethink the ES, we aren't hard enough on its lack of sport--though, it is comfortable and quiet. ES is a fine near-luxury car as long as the roads are straight and the speeds are moderate.
