It's refreshing to drive Wrangler once in a while--if only to see how far the automotive world has come in 20 years. Forget about its billy-goat-like off-road abilities, its rugged exterior, and compact size, this SUV stands against convention as a throwback to a different day. A day when occupant safety, convenience features, and utility were secondary to style. People might fall in love with the idea of a Wrangler, but they are much better off with a more modern Jeep Liberty.

This is going to sound like a journalistic cop out but, Wrangler is what it is. Love it for what it is, or be a girlie boy and buy the CR-V.
