Vehicle Highlights
A standard rearview camera is the only significant 2004 change for Nissan's luxury-brand flagship. The Q45 has a 4.5-liter V8 and a 5-speed automatic transmission with manual shift gate. ABS and antiskid/traction control are standard. The interior is trimmed in leather and wood and includes front side airbags and head-protecting curtain side airbags. An in-dash screen shows audio, climate, and trip-computer functions; it also serves as the display for the available navigation system and, when the transmission is in Reverse, the new rearview camera. Q45 has voice control for audio, climate, and navigation functions. Luxury and uplevel Premium models are offered. The Premium includes 18-inch wheels (vs. 17s), adjustable suspension, heated and cooled front seats, and reclining heated rear seats. It also comes with the navigation system and Infiniti's Intelligent Cruise Control designed to maintain a set following distance from other traffic. Satellite radio is optional. A Journey option for the Luxury adds the intelligent cruise control, navigation system, and run-flat tires.
