Vehicle Highlights
The I35 drops its Sport Package option for 2004 as it prepares to move from the 2000-2003 Nissan Maxima platform to the updated '04 design for 2005. I35 is basically a Maxima dressed up by Nissan for sale under its premium Infiniti brand. Within the Infiniti line, the I35 is more luxury oriented than the sporty G35. They share a 3.5-liter V6, but the I35 has front-wheel drive to G35's rear drive, slightly less power, and a 4-speed automatic transmission vs. a 5 speed. ABS, traction control, 17-inch wheels, and xenon headlamps are standard. Options include a navigation system and a Cold Weather Package with heating for door mirrors, steering wheel, and front and rear seats. Dropped for '04 is the available Sport Package that included antiskid system with performance tires, firmer suspension, and "aero" lower-body extensions.
