Vehicle Highlights

Honda's sports car gets a larger engine, revised styling, and minor equipment upgrades for 2004. This 2-seat convertible has a power soft top with a heated glass rear window. It uses a 4-cyl engine of 2.2 liters, up from 2.0. Horsepower remains 240, but torque increases to 162 lb-ft from 153 lb-ft, and both peak at lower rpm. A 6-speed manual is the sole transmission. ABS is standard. Side airbags are unavailable. Leather upholstery, xenon headlamps, and a wind deflector are standard. A removable aluminum hardtop is available. For '04, 17-inch wheels replace 16s, front and rear bumpers and lights are restyled, and revised suspension tuning aims to reduce ride harshness.
