Vehicle Highlights
Sold alongside GMC's new Canyon compact pickup, Sonoma continues only as a 4WD 4-dr Crew Cab for 2004. Sonoma shares a basic design with Chevrolet's S-10, with a 4.6-ft bed, four conventional side doors, and a 3-passenger rear bench seat. The 4WD system must be disengaged on dry pavement but includes low-range gearing. The lone engine is a 190-hp V6 with automatic transmission. Air conditioning and antilock 4-wheel disc brakes are standard. Options include leather upholstery with heated front seats, and a ZR5 appearance package with aluminum exterior accents and unique alloy wheels. Sonoma's performance and accommodations mirror those of similarly equipped S-10s.
