Seems priced to carry big rebates, because it flat costs too much for what you get. GM has been redesigning its compact trucks every 10 years whether they need it or not--and they most certainly do--and I frankly expected more from a design that is likely to last until 2014.

GM's attempt recreate its little trucks as personal-use vehicles is a success. No one in this market is going to tow more than a Jet Ski, but the improved ride and handling should be appreciated by all.
