Vehicle Highlights
The smaller of Cadillac's two front-wheel-drive sedans heads into the sunset for 2004 with a trimmed model line in an abbreviated model year. Seville ends production in late calendar 2003 as Cadillac readies its replacement for model year 2005. Based on the rear-wheel-drive platform of Cadillac's CTS sedan, Seville's replacement is called the STS. That was the name of Seville's sporty 300-hp model, which is dropped for '04. Surviving is the 275-hp SLS version. It has a V8, 4-speed automatic transmission, ABS, and traction/antiskid control. Front side airbags are standard; curtain airbags are unavailable. Other standard features include heated front and rear seats, rear-obstacle detection, and OnStar assistance. The optional navigation system incorporates voice recognition and can play entertainment DVDs over the 6.5-inch dashboard screen with the transmission in Park. Satellite radio is also offered.
