NHTSA Recall History
2003 Mazda6:
An improper fuel sender unit may cause a break in the seal and result in a fuel leak. Dealers will inspect and replace affected parts.
2004 Mazda6:
Right and/or left rear seat belts may not lock properly, due to missing retaining pins.
2007-08 6 with California emission specifications:
The PVC protective coating on the outside of the fuel tank may have been damaged during the assembly process which may result in reduced corrosion resistance, perforation of the fuel tank, and fuel leakage. Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire. Dealers will inspect the bottom surface of the fuel tank for damage to the protective coating and, if necessary, repair the coating or replace the fuel tank.
