NHTSA Recall History
1998:
Windshield wiper "Low" speed function can become inoperative if motor is switched from "High" to "Low."
1998-99:
Electrical short can develop in generator, even when engine is off.
2000:
Due to internal fluid leakage in some cars, rear-brake proportioning, ABS, traction control or stability control may not perform as designed.
2000:
Inner tie-rod nuts on some cars are loose and can result in separation of tie rod, which can cause unexpected steering input.
2001 w/235/55R17 tires:
These vehicles can have an incorrect tire-pressure label.
2002:
Steering-gear attachment bolts may be undertorqued or missing, resulting in uneven steering response or unusual noise during turns.
2002-03 V8:
Faulty fuel tank sensors may have been installed in certain vehicles, leading to fuel leakage. Dealer will inspect and replace all affected parts.
