First shown in 2004 as the 100EX concept car, Rolls Royce finally revealed a production ready convertible version of its Phantom sedan.
The Phantom Drophead Coupe seats four passengers and boasts an aluminum space frame, leather and wood-lined interior, and rear-hinged rear doors. More daring styling elements include a brushed steel hood and teak lined folding-top storage bay.
The Drophead Coupe shares its BMW-designed 6.75-liter engine with the Phantom sedan. In Drophead trim Rolls claims the V12 will propel the massive convertible to 60 mph in under six seconds.
Rolls says that Drophead production will begin in the third quarter of this year. Prices will start just under $410,000.
